We gather on Sundays

We call our time together on Sundays our gathering. Come as you are. In worship, we believe God is more concerned with the condition of a person’s heart than the pretense of a person’s appearance. Worship is a rhythm of divine revelation and human response. We follow this rhythm each week as God reveals himself through his Word, and we respond with adoration, confession, appreciation, supplication, and commission.

9:15 AM | Core Seminars

Core Seminars, our high school through adult education hour on Sunday mornings, help us to comprehend the subtle intricacies and overarching truths of our God and the theology, ministry, and history He has authored.

9:15 AM | Children's Sunday School

Children of all ages are invited to spend the entire morning in the The Park. Each classroom has a primary teacher who is prepared to engage your child with a Bible story and intentional activities, such as games and crafts. We desire to help your child learn these stories and begin walking with the Lord.

10:15 AM | Members' Moment

Before the service begins, we gather to find our seats in the sanctuary. This is a relaxed opportunity to settle in, greet your neighbors, sing songs, hear updates about the Church and her mission, share testimonies, and pray together. Families, please note that check-in for childcare during the morning service starts at 10:15 a.m. We recommend arriving by 10:15 a.m. to allow ample time for the check-in process.

10:30 AM | Worship Service

Music: The music we sing at GCC is a blend of old and new. We love the doctrinally rich hymns, and we find blessing in the choruses of today. Most of us who are comfortable with music from one particular era have discovered, while at GCC, that we have come to enjoy other songs we had not previously encountered. We strongly prefer congregational singing, which emphasizes the gathered body singing praise to God with one voice.

Sermons: Preaching at GCC is generally expositional, meaning that it seeks to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage. Sermons usually last around an hour and are packed with material for reflection. On a regular basis, our sermon series alternate between the Old and New Testaments. All preaching is driven by the Gospel, the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Still Have Questions?

How early should I arrive? If you're checking in kids, we recommend arriving at 15 minutes before the service. Feel free to come early and grab a cup of coffee on your way into the service.

What should I wear? Come as you are. You'll find a wide range of dress at GCC, from shorts to dresses to sport coats.

Do I need a Bible? If you own a Bible, yes, bring it! We usually teach from the English Standard Version (ESV). If you don't own a Bible, we can get you one.

Can my children join me in the worship service? Absolutely! While we offer childcare up to 4 years old, we know that some families want to worship together. Your children are welcome to join you in the service.

Do you have a cry room available? Yes, we have a cry room available near the sanctuary for the comfort of our new moms and babies.

Where do I go if I have additional questions? On Sunday mornings, look for someone at the resource desk or you can contact us by phone or email.

I am ready to learn more about GCC. How do I get more involved? We would love to help you get plugged in at Grace Covenant. Please visit our Membership page to learn more!
