Having, as we trust, been led by the Spirit of God to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and to give up ourselves to Him, and having been baptized upon our profession of faith, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, relying on His gracious aid, solemnly and joyfully covenant with each other. (Rom. 5:8, 8:29-30, 11:36, 1 Cor. 10:31)

We will work and pray towards the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace and strive to support the leadership of the elders who have been entrusted by God to shepherd this church. (Eph. 4:3; Hebrews 13:7;17).

We will walk together in brotherly love, as members of Grace Covenant Church; exercise an affectionate care and watchfulness over each other and faithfully admonish and entreat one another as occasion may require. (Gal 5:16, 25, Eph 4:1-2, 29, 31, Luke 17:3, Col. 3:13, 1 Thess. 5:11, 1 Peter 1:22)

We will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, nor neglect to pray for ourselves and others. (Heb.10:25, Eph 4:25, 2 Thess. 1:11, Col. 1:9-10)

We will endeavor to bring up our children and any others under our care, in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and by a pure and loving example to seek the salvation of our family and friends. (Prov. 22:6; Eph. 6:4; 1 Pet. 3:1)

We will rejoice at each others happiness and endeavor with tenderness and sympathy to bear each others burdens and sorrows. (Gal. 6:2; Rom. 12:15)

We will seek, by the help of the Holy Spirit, to live carefully in the world, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, as we have been united with Christ and have a special obligation now to lead a new and holy life for the sake of one another and as a witness to the world around us. (Gal. 5:22-24; Titus 2:12; 1 Pet. 1:14)

We will work together for the preservation of an authentic, biblically informed, gospel centered, Spirit empowered ministry in this church, as we sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, witness, and doctrines continually evaluating each by the clear teaching of Scripture. (2 Tim. 4:2; Acts 2:38; 1 Cor. 11:26; Matt 18:17, 28:16-20; 1 Cor. 5:13)

We will contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, and the spread of the Gospel through all nations. (Matt. 28:19; Luke 12:33; 2 Cor. 9:7)

We will, when we move from this place, as soon as possible, unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of Gods Word. (1 Cor. 12)

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all.

Amen.
